Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Greece: Q3 2021

In the third quarter of 2021, the top navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform in Greece showcased interesting trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at the performance of these apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps saw a dynamic quarter. Weekly downloads started at approximately 7.7K at the end of June, dipped to 4.9K by mid-July, and then rebounded to around 8.1K by mid-August. Active users peaked in early August with roughly 292.8K users and ended the quarter with about 262.2K users.

Google Earth had a more stable download pattern. It began with about 949 downloads at the end of June, spiked to 2K in early August, and then leveled off to around 740 by the end of September. Active users hovered around 5.8K at the start of the quarter, with a slight decline to approximately 5K by the end.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a consistent yet modest download rate. Weekly downloads fluctuated between 185 and 291 throughout the quarter. Active users showed steady engagement, starting at roughly 9K and ending with around 9.2K.

Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps experienced a steady user base with weekly downloads ranging from 135 to 220. Active users grew from 310 at the end of June to a peak of 396 in mid-August before settling at about 332 by the end of September. Revenue peaked at $143 in early August.

My Odos had a relatively low but consistent download rate. Weekly downloads started at 143 at the end of June, peaked at 189 in late July, and tapered off to 95 by the end of September.
